Since it was founded in 2003, Trim GmbH has specialised in professional vehicle interior development. Our experienced and highly motivated team offers comprehensive know-how to provide individual and innovative solutions worldwide for the automotive, aviation and railway industries, as well as other economic sectors.
In April 2014, we moved into our new company headquarters in Großmehring near Ingolstadt. Today, Trim GmbH is represented in two locations, with a combined total of 1000 m² of floor space. Our machinery includes special sewing machines, airbag sewing machines, Faro measuring arm, CAD-capable devices/processing software for 2D and 3D, template plotters and modern cutting technology (such as a multifunction cutter for CNC cutting), which guarantee exact work results at the very highest level. We offer our services worldwide, whether on request at the customer’s site or as a complete solution at our two locations in Großmehring by Ingolstadt and Brunswick.
We have been a certified company for prototype protection since 2011. Our high standards are guaranteed in all aspects of our work. In 2020, both locations received the TISAX certification (high protection requirement & prototype protection). We also successfully passed the TISAX recertification in June 2023.

We work quickly, reliably and in detail, following the exact specifications agreed upon with our customers. We take care of all developmental aspects of your vehicles: high-quality seat covers, trim parts, foam processing and leather work, all individually crafted according to customers’ wishes and professionally implemented. We are, of course, also able to assist customers in areas other than those we specialise in.
We have experts from the areas of project management and start of production coordination, cover development, foam modelling and seat cover sewing at your service. Precise craftsmanship, technical expertise and state-of-the-art digital equipment complement each other to create a smoothly synchronised workflow. We place great importance on offering innovative solutions tailored to our clients in the automotive industry and other economic sectors – to their complete satisfaction.
